PTSO Mission and Goals

Mission Statement: The North Forsyth High School Parent-Teacher-Student Organization (NFHS PTSO) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization composed of all parents, teachers, and students at North Forsyth High School. The primary objective of the PTSO is to enhance the educational experience of our students by providing financial support and volunteer opportunities to the teachers, administration, staff, and students.

NFHS PTSO Strives To:

• Support the education and well-being of students by fostering relationships among the school, parents, administrators, and teachers.
• Planning, organizing, and executing events and fundraisers which generate resources and community for our school.
• Support students by giving our time and financial support to those in need.
• Support our teachers through academic grants that help them achieve their goals in advancing our students' learning experiences. Since the onset of the grant program in 2018, the PTSO, in conjunction with parent support, has been able to provide over $20,000 in support of NFHS teachers and staff.
• Fund and operate a budget to perpetuate the school, administration, and PTSO goals and to provide positive experiences for the student body.
