Internship Forsyth (Work-Based Learning)

Full-Time/ Part-Time Forsyth Virtual Fall/Spring Registration -
Registration for Forsyth Virtual for the 26-27 school year will open on January 26th. Students can use this application for part-time or full-time enrollment. Students that choose to take virtual classes will also need to fill out the course waiver form (open on 1/22) to let their counselor know they want to take courses through FVA. For example, a student choosing to take US History on FVA will need to fill out a course waiver requesting to drop US History (in-person) and add US History FVA. Students will not be able to request Forsyth Virtual once the school year begins.
Part-Time Georgia Virtual Fall/Spring Registration -
- Fall 2026/Spring 2027 registration will open up on March 15th. In order to be approved for GAVS, parents must fill out the GAVS Permission Form in Parent Portal. This form must be completed before students are approved for classes in the GAVS platform.
- Once the parent permission slip is completed in Parent Portal, students will need to create a GAVS account on their platform. Here is the link: https://gavs.geniussis.com/
- Students will then select the course they would like to take. GAVS courses are semester-long classes. To request the first part of the course, you will select the A section. To request the second semester of the course, please select the B section. If you are going to take a full class in one semester, you must select the AB section of the course.
